Terms of Service

Illustrated Page is a personal ebook reader that generates illustrations for your books using AI image generation. You upload ebooks, read them in the browser, and the Service produces artwork tied to your reading session.

You may create an account using a supported OAuth provider or with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Fees are charged in advance each billing cycle via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

No refunds are issued for the current billing period. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

You are solely responsible for all ebooks and other content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own it, have been granted the necessary rights to use it, or your use is otherwise lawful under applicable copyright law.

Any copyright infringement resulting from content you upload is your sole responsibility. Genoworks disclaims all liability for infringement claims arising from your uploads. We reserve the right to remove any content at any time, without notice, in response to a copyright claim, a takedown request, or our own determination that the content may infringe third-party rights.

If you choose to share an ebook publicly within the Service, you accept that it may be removed at any time based on a valid copyright claim from the rightsholder, without prior notice and without compensation.

Illustrations are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or inconsistent. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or fitness of generated images. You may regenerate illustrations subject to the usage limits of your subscription plan.

Ownership of AI-generated images is subject to the policies of the underlying model provider and applicable law in your jurisdiction. We make no warranty regarding your ability to claim copyright in generated images.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service or its underlying technology.

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

• Circumvent usage limits, authentication, or billing mechanisms.

• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service.

All software, design, trademarks, and other materials comprising the Service (excluding your uploaded content) are the property of Genoworks or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENOWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Genoworks is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
